Kate Speck
Director of Development
Kate Speck joined Pilchuck Glass School as the Director of Development in 2025. Kate brings over 10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience and comes to Pichuck from The 5th Avenue Theatre where she was the Director of Philanthropy. She holds a BA in international and intercultural studies from Pitzer College, as well as a Master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. While not an artist herself, Kate's family instilled in her a deep appreciation for the arts. Born and raised in Seattle, Kate remembers trailing her aunt after school from museum to gallery, and her dad from concerts to performing arts productions. When not at Pilchuck, Kate can be found playing Ultimate Frisbee, hiking, skiing, or in the theater seeing musicals.
