About Ted Sawyer

Ted Sawyer received his BA in art from Lewis and Clark College. From 1992 – 1993 he was the artist in residence at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, Oregon. In 1997, he joined Bullseye, where he is the Director of Research & Education and the Creative Director of Bullseye Studio. Sawyer teaches and lectures internationally, directs the production of Bullseye’s online educational videos, and guides the development and fabrication of large-scale works in glass for artists and designers. His work — featured in Corning’s New Glass Review 28, 30, 31, 35 and 37 — has been exhibited at galleries and museums around the world.
