Job Location: Pilchuck Glass School Stanwood Campus
Effective Date: August 10 – October 20, 2026* (end date may be extended based on auction needs)
Position Information: Temporary, Seasonal
Works 25 to 40 hours per week, subject to change based on event planning timeline. Additional hours may be required the week of the auction (October 12-18, 2026). The Assistant Auction Art Handler works on the Pilchuck Glass School campus with occasional trips to Seattle.
Campus housing is not guaranteed. Meals will be provided during campus summer sessions until mid-late September.
Compensation: $18/per hour
Position Summary: The Assistant Auction Art Handler assists the Auction Art Handler with packing, organizing, labeling and exhibiting all artwork before and during the annual auction.
During the week of the auction, the Assistant Auction Art Handler will collaborate with the Auction Art Handler and campus team to help load the trucks, install the artwork, and advise on safe handling of the artwork. The Assistant Auction Art Handler works in the packing room on auction night to help staff and volunteers with the packing and de-installation of artwork.
The Auction Art Handler will work closely with the Assistant Auction Art Handler to ensure the responsibilities and duties below are complete and executed professionally.
