Hoseok Youn

Hoseok Youn is a Korean glass artist based in Seoul, South Korea. He earned his BFA from Namseoul University in Cheonan, Korea, and an MFA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois, USA. Youn’s practice focuses on Venetian traditional glass designs and techniques. His work is inspired by pop culture—heroes, villains, and fantasy characters from movies, animations, games, and toys. Youn’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom.
