John Moran

John Moran is a politically and socially engaged hot glass sculptor, mixed media artist, co-founder of Gent Glas and all around nice guy. He is an American-Belgian currently living and working in Ghent, Belgium. Though he does not consider himself an academic, he has the accolades that say otherwise. He enjoys traveling, talking about art, good food and pints with friends. He attained his B.F.A. from Tyler School of Art, his M.F.A. from Illinois State University, and his P.h.D. from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design. Most recently, he participated in and won Netflix'xs "Blown Away" Season 3.
