Alan Iwamura is a craftsperson specializing in traditional glassblowing techniques. His work explores the integration of imagery and form while referencing classic vessels and ancient textile motifs, creating pieces that evoke a sense of visual harmony. Alan is currently the Glass Studio Manager at the Toledo Museum of Art. He has taught accredited courses in glass for many institutions including NYU, LIU, SVA, and BGSU. Iwamura's artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
