Born in 1973 in Venice, Italy, Matteo Seguso lives and works in Murano. In 1999, he inherited the passion for the glass from his father, Bruno. In 2007, Matteo started a collaboration with Lino Tagliapietra which has allowed him to know the International Glass and another faces of cold working, grinding and technique of battuto. He collaborates with many important studios of Murano, with designers and artists of international renown. Matteo gives engraving and cold working classes in Italy, Australia at Canberra Glassworks, and in the US at Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburg Glass Center and Urban Glass.
